My first night in Dublin after 15 years and my friend takes me to Mae. I live in Rome so I am used to eating fresh delicious food. Every bite of our dinner was perfection! There were so many surpises in the layers of flavors and everything was so balanced and tasty. We both had the duck and then shared the blue cheese and tarte tatin. We ordered a fabulous burgundy that was delicious with every part of the meal. The service was also perfect and I still can't get over the fact that this gem is sandwiched between two fast food places. The wine store is also amazing for thise who love French wine.

Our dinner at Mae was absolutely wonderful. The food was completely delicious, the service was wonderful, and the atmosphere was as well, with a really great selection of music playing. We had a window seat with a lovely view, and the aperitifs were some of the best I’ve ever had. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.

My favourite was the creamy hake pie 🤤
Everything was cooked to perfection.
